About

I’m a follower of Christ, husband to Cassidy, and pastor to students.  I’m currently serving as the student minister at Watermark Church.

This is my personal website/blog. My goal is to grow as a leader as I write. My desire is write about life, ministry, leadership and some uncategorized topics. I usually blog about 3-4 times per week.

My Bio:

I grew up a pastor’s son. I was born in Oklahoma but also lived in North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas and Florida. I have a close bond with my Mom and Dad (Jimmy and Jennifer) and my brothers, Jeff,  Jordan and Justin. My Mom and Dad led me to Christ at a young age in our living room. I’m grateful for their authenticity and leadership in following Christ. I have never gotten over the fact that Jesus saved me!

My college years were spent playing sports for one year (basketball and baseball until God called me serve in ministry).  I enrolled and finished my B.A. in Christian Education at  The Baptist College of Florida in 2006. My college years shaped me to be prepared to lead in ministry and life. I spent a lot of time teaching students at church and camps through speaking, teaching and worship. The highlight of my college years was meeting my wife Cassidy. She is the light of my life! We desire to work together as a team to bring glory to God. After entering full-time ministry I finished a Master’s of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Christian Leadership and a Masters of Religious Education from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary.

In my personal time I enjoy playing basketball, surfing, working out, playing Xbox, hunting, fishing, and cruising in my jeep. But above all, I love to spend time with my wife, Cassidy. We were married on June 14, 2008 and are still honeymoonin’.
