Check out this funny video – sadly it is true! Tim Hawkins does a great job using comedy to communicate truth.

America was built upon biblical principles that open the door for freedom, hard work and ingenuity. I’m continually focused upon not putting my faith in government but to continually focus on God’s promises in His Word. The smaller government stays will ensure liberty and a continued hope for hard-working people to get through this recession. The more government stays out of the way (and out of our pockets), I believe America can and will rebound if we make wise choices on our values.

“Once we roared like lions for liberty; now we bleat like sheep for security! The solution for America’s problem is not in terms of big government, but it is in big men over whom nobody stands in control but God.” Norman Vincent Peale

A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.” Gerald Ford
